Family Place provides various creative and educational play experiences for children 0 -5. This set-up allows children to develop group play skills like sharing, parallel and co-operative play and interaction with a variety of adults. The program is inclusive allowing for children and adults of a variety of skill levels to learn through play. Many English as a Second Language families attend and we encourage the development of language for both adult(s) and children. Parents from a variety of ethnic backgrounds are asked to make suggestions that could enhance our program.

Daily Circle Time at around 10:30 allows for a sing-a-long time for adults and children and may include a story, flannel board or open discussion.

The Toy Lending Library is available to all members. It has a wide variety of toys and books for all ages of children. A few toys and books are available for children who are over 5. Adult books and Videos are available on a variety of parenting topics from Pre-Natal to dealing with teenagers. There are also self help books, a variety of pamphlets from other agencies, a Red Book of services and a map of the surrounding area for Parks, Schools and community Centres.
